APIs, microservices, databases — then React and Vue on top, because I got tired of watching handoffs go wrong. ERPs, medical records systems, real-time platforms, payment pipelines. I build things that scale, fail gracefully, and feel as tidy on the surface as they are underneath.
About
I spent five years building the parts of systems you never see — APIs, schemas, queues, the plumbing that keeps a product honest when the load doubles overnight. Microservices that had to actually scale. DynamoDB tables I collapsed from twelve into one. Django ORM pushed hard enough to deliver an ERP a year ahead of schedule.
Then I got tired of handing designs off and watching them come back a little wrong. So I learned the other half. Now I ship React and Vue front-ends that are as considered as the backends underneath them — typed, tested, accessible, and shaped like the data they're standing on.
The throughline: I care about the thing working, all the way through.

A clinical records platform that takes dictated audio, transcribes it with Whisper, structures it into a patient chart, and renders DICOM imaging side-by-side. The kind of system where a missed millisecond isn't an inconvenience — it's a safety issue.
Voice → structured chart
Clinicians talk. The system transcribes via Whisper, parses intent, and writes to the correct fields without the physician touching a keyboard.
DICOM at web speed
Medical imaging is heavy. Streaming render pipeline so a 500MB scan feels like a 500KB image in the browser.
Audit everything
HIPAA-style access logs on every read and write, with Celery workers handling async indexing.
Two clouds, one product
AWS for compute, Azure for health-compliant storage — bridged cleanly so the UI doesn't know the difference.
